Paddington 24/7
All aboard for exclusive, behind the scenes access to one of the UK’s busiest train stations as we follow railway workers on the Great Western Mainline amidst the biggest modernisation in decades. This fascinating access documentary provides a unique insight into London’s Paddington during one of its busiest summers to date – challenged by large-scale incidents, terror attacks, sporting events, as well as the high-pressure day-to-day running this world-famous train station.
The Potato team were based not only in Paddington Station but up and down the country for 3 months shooting 24 hours a day; Fifty Fifty’s Aaron Bell graded and onlined the show and was required to bring balance and order to the footage, keeping it natural and consistent across the story adding in layers of graphics to create a roadmap for the story.
Steve Cheshire mixed the audio using ProTools HD12 & Avid S6 mixing console and heavily edited the dialogue, using iZotope RX6, to ensure the scenes filmed in the acoustically tricky Paddington Station were as intelligible as possible.
