Anthony Joshua – Road to Klitschko

For the past two years Goalhanger Films have followed Joshua with unique access behind the scenes as he worked towards one of the biggest events in the history of boxing. The result is an intimate portrayal of a young fighter and his exponential rise to becoming champion. Director, Tim Mackenzie-Smith, sought the services of long-time collaborator and our Head of Online, Julian Nelson, who gave the programme a final pass before delivering to BBC Three. Grading was enhanced using Baselight Editions and particular shots were refined with editorial changes throughout, made in Media Composer. There were several instances of blurring and the painting out of background elements, which required a combination of Baselight and After Effects to achieve the desired and final look.
